BLACK PEARL Launches ‘No Single Use Fashion’ Campaign Merchandise Powered by Digital Product Passports
BLACK PEARL proudly introduces its ‘No Single Use Fashion’ campaign merchandise collection—featuring NSUF Organic Cotton T-Shirts and NSUF Regenerative Hemp–Organic Cotton Hoodies, made using bluesign® APPROVED materials—each supported by a Digital Product Passport (DPP) powered by The Chain. This collaboration brings transparency to the forefront, giving consumers access to verified data on material origins, production practices, and environmental impact.
The campaign range includes NSUF T-Shirts in Cream and Black, made from 100% organic cotton for a soft, breathable feel. The NSUF Hoodies (Cream & Black) are crafted from a blend of organic cotton and regenerative hemp, a lower-impact fibre known for its efficient growth and reduced input needs. All garments are produced in a Tier 1 factory in Bulgaria, where cutting, sewing, finishing, and packaging take place under one roof.

“No Single Use Fashion is about shifting culture as much as spotlighting how we design better. By pairing regenerative materials with Digital Product Passports, we’re giving people the transparency they deserve and the ability to truly map the story behind what they wear. This isn’t just merchandise—it’s a statement about what fashion can become when creativity and responsibility work hand in hand.”
— Samata Pattinson, CEO & Founder, BLACK PEARL
Digital Product Passports: Transparency for a New Era of Fashion
In partnership with The Chain, every T-shirt and hoodie now includes a Digital Product Passport (DPP), giving customers end-to-end visibility into the supply chain. Accessible through a simple QR code, the DPP shares verified material composition, production dates and factory details, carbon-footprint estimates, care and aftercare guidance.
“Many brands view the Digital Product Passport as a regulatory burden. We see it as the ultimate trust-builder. When you hand a customer verifiable proof of a product’s journey, you stop selling just a garment and start selling integrity.”
— Frankie Hewitson, Lead Consultant & Director, The Chain
With DPPs set to become mandatory in the EU by 2027, the No Single Use Fashion campaign is taking a proactive role in shaping the future of compliant, transparent fashion. The Chain’s platform provides brands with a powerful sustainability engine—combining expert support with an intuitive system that tracks materials from delivery through final garment production. This helps meet evolving regulations, empower consumers, and ensure complete traceability across the product lifecycle. Through this collaboration — with BLACK PEARL and The Chain working together to expand the use of DPPs across the apparel industry — thoughtful design, regenerative materials, and digital transparency come together to create campaign merchandise with real purpose.

Complete information on fibre origins, certifications, production methods, and full lifecycle impact is available directly in each item’s Digital Product Passport (DPP), accessible via QR code on campaign merchandise.
