
Samata Pattinson is a Brit living in Los Angeles She is a sustainability advocate, and the CEO of BLACK PEARL, a cultural sustainability organisation working at the intersection of fashion, music, film, and climate. Widely recognised for helping bring sustainability to the Oscars, she collaborates with leading cultural figures and organisations including The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences, Billie Eilish, Maggie Baird, Universal Music Group, and ROC Nation to advance circular fashion, cultural impact and responsible storytelling. An educator, and contributor to the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, she has spoken globally at institutions including Yale, UC Berkeley, and was named a Champion of Change on Vogue Business’ Innovator 100 List.
