BLACK PEARL, in collaboration with Black Women for Wellness, Radical Clothes Swap, and Black Girl Environmentalist, hosted a community event. The event featured a collaborative clothing swap, aiming to promote sustainability and community engagement. Additionally, Black Women for Wellness organized a small public education session focusing on the lifecycle of plastics and the health impacts of garments.
The event, held in ORA Cafe Los Angeles, was successful in fostering connections within the community and raising awareness about sustainable fashion practices and environmental health. Attendees had the opportunity to swap clothes and learn about the environmental impact of their clothing choices.
